Well and Pump Service
"Earl Pruitt replaced my well pump, water tank and cleaned my well back in August. Water is cleaner and water pressure is great! They provided professional service and did a quick job."

Richard G.

Well and Pump Service
Just purchased my first home that had a pump that hadn't been turned on in years and a bunch of sprinklers the previous owner had ripped out. Earl came out to take a look at the pump and gave me a very fair price for replacing it and getting everything working again.

  • How long does it take to drill a new well?

If everything goes according to plan we are typically able to finish a well in less than a week, after we acquire the permits. This includes the drilling, and testing the water. However, we are a small team and cannot guarantee this timeframe, especially during the busy season.

  • What is the difference between a standard system and a constant pressure system?

Constant pressure systems are best for larger families where larger amounts of water is being used or is you have a lawn irrigation system. Constant pressure systems are a bit more expensive but unlike a standard system, they are more energy efficient and you won't experience any issues in your water pressure when you are using water from multiple sources throughout your house at the same time.

  • What factors determine the cost of a new well?

The main thing to consider when determining the cost of a new well is the depth. This can be a tricky process because we can't be certain of the depth of the drill until we drill it. We usually rely on the depth of other wells in the area to get a rough estimate of the depth of the well. Other factors to keep in mind when budgeting for a new well is: the type of system you want to use, the size of the tank and the horse-power of the pump, and how far away the well is to the house.

  • What are the best practices to maintaining my well?

Newer wells should need little to no maintenance for many years. If you begin to notice that your pump is constantly running, your breaker tripping frequently or a change in the quality of water, then we recommend that you contact us to have your water looked at. We suggest that you have your well inspected every five years, to prevent any small issues from turning into larger, more expensive issues.

  • My water has an eggy smell. What does this mean?

An eggy smell coming from your water is typically the result of bacteria in your well. This type of bacteria isn't harmful but it the smell is unpleasant. If this happens to your water we recommend that you contact us and schedule a time for us to disinfect your well and flush your system.

  • Our water pressure isn't as high as it used to be. What's causing this?

Having issues with your water pressure could be caused by a variety of factors. It could be a small issue like a clogged screen, or it could be something more serious like the well drying up. It's difficult to asses the issue without taking a look at the well and the system, so contact us now for a free quote today!

  • My pump seems to be running a lot more than normal. What should I do?

If you begin to notice that your pump is running constantly, or if it's rapidly turning itself on and off these are indicators that there is an issue with your system. These types of problems are best solved by an experienced technician so give us a call to have us look at your system right away.

  • Do you offer a warranty on your equipment?

We offer a 5 year warranty that starts the day that we install your pump. Our warranty only covers defects caused by the manufacturer and covers a full product replacement. If you are having problems with your pump, please give us a call and we'll determine whether or not the issue is covered by our warranty.

  • When does a well need to be abandoned?

If you switch to a new well or convert to city water and no longer need your old well, then it must be properly abandoned. If it stays open it can let harmful contaminants enter into the groundwater and potentially contaminate other wells in the surrounding area. Give us a call and we'll schedule a time to properly abandon your well.
